A Giveaway, Just Because

Greetings!  It's been a while since I've had a giveaway so I thought it was definitely time for another.  So, because I love my readers so much and appreciate you taking the time to visit, I've got a special bag of goodies picked out for one lucky reader.  

I have to tell you, this was so much fun!  I love gift giving!  
This is what is included in the giveaway.


I've been experimenting with my mini bread board sets again and mixed and matched from both my mini bread board sets to come up with this set.  It's also in walnut, which I really love.  If you read my blog, you know how much my bread boards mean to me.
Hopefully, these will be offered in my shop soon.

First up, a set of 4 mini bread boards.


I love how the dark walnut pops against white plates. (table props - dishes, napkins, glasses, pitchers of flowers - NOT included in giveaway)


Of course, you can't have a set of mini bread boards without having a 
large walnut bread board to go with it.


I am cuckoo for the wood grain in this board.  It is gorgeous.  And to place on each individual bread board, 4 beautiful tiny rosewood bowls from Bahari for dipping oil, jam, melted butter or 
whatever you love with your bread.


A cute little olive oil decanter...


And this book.  I love it.  It works, just try it.  It also has gluten free recipes for gluten free folks.

  3. Hi Diana, I'm a newer follower and just love these bread boards. They are gorgeous! We are pretty new to bread baking but really enjoying the fruits of our labors! My 17 yr old daughter has been making a rosemary artisan type bread for us that we just love with everything right now!

  12. This is an awesome give away and if I don't win I REALLY hope you get the mini bread boards on your shop soon. I have a sister who is obsessed with breadboards & anything mini who would LOVE these as a gift. My favorite bread is either fresh baked anything or once I had a cherry, white chocolate quick bread on a tea sandwich once which was fantastic.

  14. A favorite bread???? That is tough. I think bread is such a treat. But growing up my grandmother made a beautiful cardamon bread and the smell of the dough rising was heavenly. Beautiful memories I still love the smell of bread dough!

  21. Silly (and juvenile) as it sounds, my favorite bread will always be the Hawaiian sweet rolls in the orange packaging. I remember my sisters and I smothering them in butter and dipping them in vegetable soup when we were kids.

  64. I guess I'm more sentimental about the bread I want to mention than anything.....While my husband and I were dating he wanted to cook me dinner. So he called his sister to get her dill bread recipe. In a hurry he only wrote down 1/4 for the baking soda. When it came time to make the bread, he added 1/4 CUP baking soda instead of 1/4 teaspoon. Oh my, the bread was bitter but the marriage of 28 years has been anything but.... and we love to laugh about his one and only dill bread attempt.

  104. Hi! My name is Flavia. First of all I want to thank you for the generosity of this giveaway. Well, I am brazilian, and one of my favorites types of bread is a coconut bread. It contains sweet condensed milk, with coconut on top of it. Where I buy it, it come in a package with six rolls, which I can eat all of them in one siting!
    The other one is ciabatta bread, and when dipped in olive oil.. delicious!

  156. I like to make and eat my mother-in-laws sour milk Banana Bread recipe. My favorite yeast bread recipe is for mini Rosemary Baquettes. The little loafes would look really yummy served on the individual bread boards!

    I love your blog and the really detailed tutorials for your projects.

  174. I got the recipe for my favorite bread out of a book called "Mitten Strings for God", by Katrina Kenison...amazing book about enjoying your children and not taking life for granted. I have been making that bread since I read her book 5 years ago.

  190. Your breadboards are gorgeous - I love the dark walnut! My favorite bread is Amish Friendship bread. It takes a few days to make it, and you can pass on a starter to a few friends, plus, you can make the bread with your favorite fruit like banana, blueberries, or omit the fruit and just have cinnamon and nuts.
